Travel Faves!!! Updating our on the go kits for Spring.
Updated: Mar 21, 2023
I don't know about you, but I'm pretty addicted to updating my travel kit with cool new doo dads in the hopes to streamline and perfect our jet setting. I someday want my ADHD ass to feel calm and smug at my organization (and outfit) on travel days. It's slowly getting better and better, although I freak out about losing my phone every 5 seconds even when it's in my hand in reality land. These are some of my tried and tested travel favorites, and some new additions that I'm loving this Spring.
I was really annoyed at the options for travel drink holders. . . I can't do the ones that slip over the handles of your bag. . . where would my heavier carry on go? I found this one. . . it allows me not only to have my pink everywhere away bag over the handles, but it attaches to the side. Technically it's made for a stroller, but I won't tell if you don't . . . Also it can go on your bike or walker or stroller etc anyway so it's versatile.
My dog Sherlock literally ate my last passport holder! At least I caught him before he got to my passport! I got this very pretty one which has room for a vaccination slot if you should so need it. It's very high quality. Love the color options.
I'm very picky when it comes to sleep masks. VERY PICKY! They have to be concave, silky in material by the eyes, and not be super dorky. This one checks all the boxes AND has a set of bluetooth headphones in them in case you want to fall asleep to enya or your favorite audiobook.
These are cute, and if you need a teeny bit more room than the teeny paper cups on the plane, or if there's turbulence, you'll thank yourself for bringing this. It's collapsible. Syd has the grey one. I've got the pink and white because it's cute.
Another category I'm picky in is travel jewelry holders. This one is great. It keeps necklaces untangled, rings separated, and the sections are perfect for broaches or larger dangly earrings and studs. Perfect size for a 3 day weekend trip.
These are so cute. I got tired of separating out my supplements and meds into teeny bags or carrying a bunch of bottles. I plan on carrying more than one of these and labeling the heck out of them. Might do one for dramamine, tylenol, pepto tabs etc. for travel emergencies.
This has made my makeup travel kit so much more compact. As a Libra with an Aries moon, I don't like having to choose my lipsticks nor do I like having to carry 4 tubes to have options on my trip. I'll do a tutorial soon for these. Long story short, I depotted and melted down my top 4 favorite shades of lipstick to have for travel plus a lipstick brush and it's all I need. I did a nude, a pink, a true red, and a vampy dark oxblood red. It comes in a set of 2 so you can go wild with choices, or gift one to a friend.
These are the holy grail of makeup wipes without paying a fortune. They are gentle AND take off all of your makeup, yes even waterproof mascara. I'm a cryer with allergies so I ONLY wear waterproof mascara. I've tried dozens and these are still the clear winners!
