If there's one thing I've been religious about in my life no matter what, it's taking care of my skin.
I'm in love with SPF. I took off my makeup at 3 am in college after house parties. I used eye creams at 22.
Maybe I can blame it on being emotionally scarred doing very convincing stage middle and old age makeup as a theatre major.
Of course preventetive care is ideal . . . Wherever you a re with your skin it will befit greatly by giving it some love.
After testing probably thousands of creams and potions on the market these are my ride or die favorites. Sure I'll try new ones. I can't afford hundreds of dollar jars (yet).
These are really affordable to slightly splurgey but nothing too crazy. . .
This is my number one favorite product. It's antioxident rich which helps protect your skin from free radicals and pollutants. It also has a very non greasy very hydrating texture, and the smell is super clean and mild. It smells like a cucumber.
It has spf 15 so even on days I don't add a layer of sunscreen I know I'm covered when I take Sherlock on our morning walk. I use this one more than anything. I have used it on and off since highschool and it's still my number one daycream!
I'm new to the frownies game. I wanted to try them because I don't want to pay for botox and I also don't want to freeze my face as an actor. These have visibly reduced my forehead wrinkles without any needles. I hate needles. They basically form a cast that helps to make your face relax which teaches your wrinkles to chill. Very reasonable price too.
This is also a new in my arsenal choice. I looked at the good reviews and gave it a whirl. This one feels soooo good. Would be awesome in the fridge too. Basically my skin soaks it up like a sponge. It smells like sunshine and i dunno vitamin C. It BRIGHTENS! yes it has collagen too so it plumps up those cells, but the brightening is so amazing that I skip foundation sometimes which is cray for me.
This is one of those categories where I've tried so so many and these are the winners. I keep them in my mini fridge in my home office. I suffer more than anything from puffy undereyes. These hydrate, rev up tired skin, kill wrinkles, and seem to help with my dark circles and puffy undereyes. I use them about 1-2x a week and I LOVE them. I needed these.
My husband and I both love this one. It really really like reverse ages us. It's a very very moisturizing night cream that feels completely lush and non greasy! It never breaks me out even though I have sensitive skin and if I run out I start aging. I swear it's a magic jar. Ha ha.
Lazy girl hack! Ok for days you just don't cleanse. . . I love this so much. Hot water plus this little miracle my pal Shauna told me about can take off all of your makeup. . .Yes even waterproof mascara, and it can be washed and reused! I love this so much I have given these as gifts.
For a very advanced choice, Electromagnetic is the way to go. It like contracts your jawline and cheekbone and brow muscles with a gentle pulsing that gives you a pain free facelift. Like it kicks the a$$ of all tools that I've tried that claim to do this. It visibly lifts your cheekbones. Yes this one is a splurge, but it's like having a pain free facelift at home whenever you want so it's worth it! I do think the little ones work just as well so I went that way. Plus you can't beat this for helping kill puffiness and lymphatic drainage. I use this for sure anytime I am going to a shoot.

This will also work for Jane Austen or Regency Era themes alike
One of my absolute go tos for relaxation is watching sweeping romantic period dramas. Jane Austen of course especially the 2005 Pride and Predjudice!
I'm also loving 'fantasy Regency' stuff which is more inclusive recreated nouveau Regency with more diverse casts and more saturated colors than were in style in the actual Regency era.
Bridgerton itself is like Gossip Girl but set in the Regency Era!
It's coming back for season 3 this month on May 16th
If you're entertaining with this theme, I've got you covered. . .
I'll write more but until then here's my curated list of what you'll need for your WATCH PARTY
Grab all of your tea party accessories, finger sandwitches, roses, hydrangeas, Wisteria, playing cards, champagne, and of course your outfits casual or period dress.
